Peaceful State of Mind

There are no issues in the world when I think of the word peace. I feel as if everyone gets along with everyone. Peace is when crime stops and people truly embark and enjoy the place God has blessed us with. It is a hard task for some, but deep inside I think everyone has a hope for peace. I see children enjoying the winds and the sun, I see adults greeting one another on a day to day basis, but when they do greet it isn’t a fake greeting on the outside while on the inside they think rude thoughts, it is actually love and serenity. I think racism goes away in the world and discrimination doesn’t exist anymore. To get a true sense of peace, I think people are giving second chances and aren’t criticized and punished for mistakes they have made in their past.
I think of the word colorblind but not just color in general, I mean differences and variety. No one person is different from one another because of color. We all realize that just because one had a family member that was once a slave doesn’t mean that he still is one. It shows that just because one committed a crime that he doesn’t want to change his life around and provide for his family. Just because one chose a lifestyle of drugs and alcohol it doesn’t mean that he hasn’t chosen to give it up to have a healthier lifestyle. Just because one may have been known as a person who gives it up too easy, or a guy who does too much with too many girls, he or she can give up that lifestyle to find happiness in one person. Peace also means that just because one chooses to love the same sex other than the opposite, it does not mean that he or she is any different from one who chooses to be heterosexual. Just because one feels he doesn’t know God, it does not mean that they can be shown that God is up there and is waiting to be found by him or her, and that could possibly bring peace to that person as well. Differences will not be seen by appearance and judgment and will not be a determination in how another person lives their life. Everyone will live life for the future and live life for the one who gave us the opportunity to live, God himself.

  1. I couldn't agree more.
Indeed we will have peace once we learn to forgive and love each other. That way, will coexist in harmony.

  3. I see your view with the "lack of bad stuff" when looking at peace. It is like the "is not certain things" view instead of demanding it to contain something specific, which is the same way I see it. The question is if we can be really blind to our differences, I know you don't mean it like this, but I think we always will have the ability to see diferences, but we just not have to draw immidiate negative conclusions, but see what nice and good it is that we aren't exactly the same.
