Let's have Peace Within..
Well the first thing that comes to mine when you say inner peace, I would just think of having peace within yourself. Everybody would say peace is all about the world, and making sure others are happy, but you can't spread peace to someone else unless you have peace within yourself, sort of like someone trying to spread the word who has never read the bible. In order to accomplish inner peace means people must give up there own selfish ways and be willing to learn new ways and try to live a better life. It takes but eventually once everyone gets past their own self ignorance, then is when they will accomplish inner peace.
Egypt
The country I have beenn doing my research over isEgypt and all of it's recent issues. Well of course everybody knows the people of Egypt are pretty upset with their dicator in power Mubarak. They have been planning to come together and protest that he step down and that a new government is ran in Egypt, such as a Democracy. They had rallies and protest for days until finally they succeeded and Mubarak stepped down, but other than just stepping down he passed and guaranteed the people of Egypt he would no longer come back into rule. So now they gotta see who will be the next president for them and the son of Mubarak, whose name is Gamal, is who would only seem a custom to take the place of his father, but there are other political opponents who are taking the stand to run against Gamal for the position as president.
Another issue concerning the U.S, is that the people of Egypt are angry with the U.S. aren;t to happy with the U.because for many years we supported the ruling of Mubarak and was not till recently had then gone to the side of the protesters.
The issue was ok at first but eventually violence did come into the picture which only will make the situation worse. They can be mad that the U.S for hwat they did but i'm sure the U.S. would be a good allie to have now and they should give the U.S another chance.
Op-Ed
The issue with the world today is everyone’s definition of peace is war. That is very contradicting if you think about it, because when you fight fire with fire all you create is a bigger fire. If you want peace why not fight fire with water; put out the flames and start over by growing a new tree. Our leaders today of each country seem to believe that fighting fire with fire is the key to achieving respect, but honestly it just makes them look like bullies to the countries they are invading. That is the big issue right now. Maybe the people running to lead our countries aren’t the right type of people for the job, which shows that our presidential elections are lacking very much. If our presidential election system has a problem, that creates protests and issues because the people living in the country don’t have the right to voice their opinion in who is running it.
When I first heard of the issues going on in Egypt I really didn’t understand why all of a sudden the population wanted a new form of government. For the past generations they had been under a Dictator. For the three decades under his rule, the Egyptian society had been stripped of their most basic rights, including freedom, imprisoning tens of thousands of people. As I researched more on the country I realized as time went on the people weren’t getting the proper needs that a leader should be providing his country with. Nearly 30 percent were illiterate, about half of the population living on less than $2 per day, and Egypt was listed as one of the failed states. Anyone can tell that this country is falling apart. No country should be forced to live under those circumstances. Egypt saw the way the people of the U.S were being treated and that is what led them to wanting to be able to voice their opinion in their own country. If they are given a chance to voice their opinion more freely in the presidential election then hopefully they will choose a leader that will help them rise up to better standards than they are living in today. The dictatorship they were living in before forced them into poverty and repression. Egypt is losing about $300000 everyday due to the protests and gun fires which also cause the death of people in the population. This is why Egypt needs to form a democratic government.
A democracy would decrease the amount of protesting which leads to saving money for the economy, giving the people a chance to voice their opinion in the government and allowing them to choose the face they want to represent their country. When the people of Egypt have more of an opinion in the ways of the country it will allow the country to be more successful, sustainable and less on the downfall. If all other countries with this problem fix the issues in their presidential elections, then they will be able to choose their leadership and allow their economy to grow.
Goals upon Goals upon Goals
My short term goals of peace is helping kids which is what I am doing this summer with my summer job.. Showing them healthy, respectful and better ways to have fun without doing things that are dangerous and illegal.
My long term goals of peace is to continues to live right and eventually go on a mission trip to spread spiritual peace to another state or somewhere around the state or another university.

Homophobic bullying
Well this video is about how other aren;t willing to come out and admit who they are because they worry about what others will think of them.Do i think that is right, No, I don't think that people should make fun of any one just because of who they are. Judgement can only be casted upon you by God himself. All sins are created equal, so in the end nobody has the right to judge another due to the sin they have commited. There was never really any bullying for the most part where I'm from, we mostly saw beyond the choice of sexuality. Judging someone by who they choose to love is equivalent to judging someone off the color of there skin, it's all discrimination. It's time we most past the seperance of our own kind and realize we are all the same in his eyes.people are who they are and will be who they want to be.

Seeds of Peace memo
The website Seeds of Peace is a guide to what the program consists of, it’s purposes, founders, events and it also allows people to give in different ways to the program. It was originated by a man named John Wallach. The website is very effective because it has many pictures and information regarding the program. It shows how many people are participating and is inspiring many other people to join the cause. Seeds of Peace focuses on spreading peace throughout the world and encouraging young adults to do so. It makes for strong leaders and well rounded people when they participate in the program. They have been doing so for 18 years now.
Seeds of Peace have already helped many young adults around the world and the numbers are rapidly increasing. The website tells that this program has reached teenagers in places such as Egypt and Israel since 1993. They have since then expanded over to Cyrus, South Asia and Balkans. Most recently, according to the site, are in South Asia and the Middle East . The Seeds of Peace headquarters is located in New York City but have many other offices throughout the world in order to reach many adolescents everywhere that are interested in spreading peace. Some of the most recent events that have helped in the world are the Afghanistan chapter of Seeds. They commenced an oral project there that is bringing rebirth, in a sense, to the country. The project is focusing on bringing up and recognizing the history of the country and its people. Seeds of Peace is currently working on peace in Israel as well. Over 200 people in Israel had gathered to hear about what the supporters of Seeds had to offer. They are currently helping people all over the world.
They help by having meetings and are funded by generous philanthropists. They have groups of teenagers who work in this profit organization who gather and form to spread peace throughout the world.

Global Education
I honestly really didn’t understand the film that much, but from what I did get they feel the society will not change without education. So, by giving the younger community an opportunity to learn it enables them to do more when they are older. The one guy; who’s name I’ve already forgotten, is a good man starting a program that does the opposition of what tradition says cannot be done. He has chosen to teach education no matter your gender, age, etc. I think that is a very good thing as well, I mean eventually somebody has to go beyond the norm to offer a helping hand for what is right and that is exactly what he has done. He is giving the society a chance to grow and build strong not physically but mentally.

Peaceful State of Mind
There are no issues in the world when I think of the word peace. I feel as if everyone gets along with everyone. Peace is when crime stops and people truly embark and enjoy the place God has blessed us with. It is a hard task for some, but deep inside I think everyone has a hope for peace. I see children enjoying the winds and the sun, I see adults greeting one another on a day to day basis, but when they do greet it isn’t a fake greeting on the outside while on the inside they think rude thoughts, it is actually love and serenity. I think racism goes away in the world and discrimination doesn’t exist anymore. To get a true sense of peace, I think people are giving second chances and aren’t criticized and punished for mistakes they have made in their past.
I think of the word colorblind but not just color in general, I mean differences and variety. No one person is different from one another because of color. We all realize that just because one had a family member that was once a slave doesn’t mean that he still is one. It shows that just because one committed a crime that he doesn’t want to change his life around and provide for his family. Just because one chose a lifestyle of drugs and alcohol it doesn’t mean that he hasn’t chosen to give it up to have a healthier lifestyle. Just because one may have been known as a person who gives it up too easy, or a guy who does too much with too many girls, he or she can give up that lifestyle to find happiness in one person. Peace also means that just because one chooses to love the same sex other than the opposite, it does not mean that he or she is any different from one who chooses to be heterosexual. Just because one feels he doesn’t know God, it does not mean that they can be shown that God is up there and is waiting to be found by him or her, and that could possibly bring peace to that person as well. Differences will not be seen by appearance and judgment and will not be a determination in how another person lives their life. Everyone will live life for the future and live life for the one who gave us the opportunity to live, God himself.
